Charles Okpaleke was born on March 14th, 1983 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is a Lifestyle Entrepreneur, Health Economist, CEO of Play Entertainment Network, and Brand influencer for Uber, Remy Martin Cognac and Cintron Energy Drink.

Born into the family of Julian Chukwuemeka Okpaleke and Florence Ngozi Okpaleke, he grew up in Onitsha and Lagos. While alive, his father rose to the rank of Assistant General Inspector at the Nigerian Police Force. His mother works as a lawyer. While in Lagos, Charles attended the prestigious King's College where he earned his Senior School Certificate in 1999. After that, he studied Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science in 2005. After his studies, he proceeded for his compuslsory one year Housemanship which signaled the dawn of his career.
During his Housemanship at the State House Clinic at the Presidential Villa, Asokoro, Abuja, Charles worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and garnered a lot experience. After this, he went for his one year National Youth Service. At the end of his NYSC, Charles moved to the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom where he obtained an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy in 2007. On his return to Nigeria, he worked with Family Healthcare International (FHI) on the Global HIV/AIDS Initiative Nigeria (GHAIN) Project. The project partners with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
After GHAIN, he worked with cofounding PlaySports Bar and Grill. He also worked as a postgraduate lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. Between 2009 and 2011, he was a lecturer at the institution's faculty of Health Sciences and Technology.
Along with his brothers, Elvis (a lawyer) and Jeffery (an economist), Charles founded Play Entertainment Network in 2008. The firm which began as a Sports Bar, serves as the umbrella body of Play Network Nigeria and Play Network Africa. The firm serves as a professional and structured multidisciplinary networking hub for entrepreneurs, business executives, future leaders and like-minded people.
A philanthropist, Charles was appointed Brand Influencer for the Remy Martin global ‘One Life’ campaign in 2016. In July 2017, he was alongside award winning actress Juliet Ibrahim, made the official ambassadors for Cintron energy drink. In 2016, he served as Chairman of the Rotary Club of Abuja, Nigeria. Charles is currently working on his Doctorate.
In 2013, Charles got married to his wife, Ogochukwu Adimorah. The couple which has a set of twins live in Abuja, Nigeria.
