Yinka Quadri Masomo was born on September 6th, 1959 in Idumagbo Zone in Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is a descent of Igbomina-Owomeje in Kwara State. He is an actor, movie producer and motivation speaker.

Yinka Quadri Early Life

Yinka was born into a middle-class polygamous family with 22 children. He had his primary and secondary education at St. Catholic School, Idumagbo, Lagos and Christ High School, Ebute Elefun, Lagos respectively. He could not complete his secondary education and dropped out in dropped out at class three in other to join business. He lost his father in 1994.

Yinka Quadri Career

Yinka started acting in 1976. He and Taiwo Olayinka along with a group of friends formed a drama group called Afopina Theatre Group. Before Yinka moved into the movie industry, he managed his father's business. During his early career in acting around the 1980s, he combined the two. He features in Yoruba movies. Some of them include; Apaadi, Ojuse, Dara, Ojo Idajo, Abulesowo, Niwoyi Ola, Ilekun Olorun, Okinni and Eni Agbelebu. He launched his biography, Yinka Quadri: Scent of a Legend, on April 27th, 2014. He is currently the President of Odunfa Caucus.

Yinka Quadri Personal Life

Yinka is married and has children including; Muyiwa Quadri, Yewande Quadri, Olajuwon Quadri, and Folarin Quadri. He also has grandchildren. He is a devote Muslim and an Alhaji.
