Hon. Mohammed Alhaji Sanda Ngamdu was born on May 9th, 1965. He is an indigene of Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria. Hon. Mohammed is an agriculturist, businessman and politician. He currently serves as the lawmaker representing Kaga/Gubio/Magumeri Federal Constituency of Borno State at the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon. Muhammed attended Government Secondary Technical School in Benish where he obtained a West African Senior Certificate (WASC) and a General Certificate of Examination (GCE) in 1984. He thereafter proceeded to the Borno College of Agriculture where he obtained a National Diploma (ND) in Animal Husbandry in 1987.
Hon. Muhammed served as a member of Borno State House of Assembly from 1992 to 1993. He served another two consecutive terms from 2003 to 2011 as member of the Borno State House of Assembly. In 2011, he was elected to represent Kaga/Gubio/Magumeri Federal Constituency of Borno State at the Federal House of Representatives. He was re-elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2015.
Hon. Muhammed's legislative interest is centered on protecting the interest of the electorate. From 2011 to 2015, he was a member of several House committees such as capital market & institutions, Niger Delta, pension and defense.
Hon. Muhammed's parents, Mr. Ummara Sanda Sheriff and Mrs. Maryam Sanda Sheriff were abducted by suspected kidnappers in May 2013. They were however rescued by the Joint Task Force (JTF) around the desert town of Marte in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.
