Hon. Victor Onyemachi Nwokolo was born on May 20th, 1964. He is an indigene of Ika in Delta State, Nigeria. He is a lawyer and politician currently representing Ika Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

Hon. Victor attended Iko Comprehensive School where he obtained the West African Senior Certificate (WASC). He proceeded to the College of Education in Benin City, Edo State. Thereafter he enrolled at the University of Benin where he obtained a Bachelor's degree (LLB) in Law. He thereafter proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in Victoria Island, Lagos and was called to bar in 1994.
From 1984 to 1991, Hon. Daniel worked with the State Security Services. He thereafter began his own firm where he worked from 1991 until he joined politics in 2011. In 2011, he was elected to represent Ika Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. During this time, he served in the following House Committees; Police Affairs, Interior, Federal Character, Aviation, Public Procurement (Vice-Chairman) and Housing. He was re-elected in 2015 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Petroleum Resources (Upstream) Committee. His legislative interests include public procurement, marriage and aviation laws.
