Hon. Akinyede graduated with a Senior School Certificate in 1969 from the Ifaki Grammar School, Ifaki Ekiti. He thereafter attended the state polytechnic where he graduated in 1975 with a Higher National Diploma (HND).

Hon. Akinyede Awodumila Career

Hon. Akinyede worked as the Senior Maintenance Engineer at Western Textile Miles in Lagos. He was to Head, Department of Personnel, at the textile industry.

He was served as Chairman of Gbonyin Local Government Area in Ekiti State. He was thereafter elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Emure/Gbonyin/Ekiti East Federal Constituency under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). 

His legislative interest is human interests. He is a member of several committees such as; Drugs & Narcotics, Defense, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Federal Character, Rules & Business, and Customs & Excise.
