SIGMA SECURITIES LIMITED was incorporated on 30th May, 1995 as a Limited Liability Company under the Nigeria’s Companies and Allied Matters Decree 1990.The Company is duly registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a broker dealer and was also granted a Dealing Membership license by the Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange on 26th July, 1995. This license allows the company to act as stock brokers in NigeriaThe company commenced operation with an Authorised Share Capital of =N=5,000,000 (Five million Naira) divided into 10,000,000 ordinary shares of 50k each on 1st April, 1997 as a specialist stockbroking investment company and provider of active investment products and services to both institutional and individual investors. Today with a Share Capital of =N=800,000,000 (Eight Hundred Million Naira) divided into 1,600,000,000 ordinary shares of 50k each the company is well positioned to provide excellent services to its clients.

In August, 2004 SIGMA SECURITIES LIMITED through the foresight of its amiable Pioneer Managing Director promoted the establishment of a Pensions Fund Administrators (PFA) called SIGMA PENSIONS LIMITED. The Company has a technical partnership agreement with Vaughn Sterling Pensions Pty (VSP) a South African Pensions Advisory Company and has as shareholders seasoned and highly respected Nigerians in the Financial, Business, Oil and Gas Manufacturing and many other sectors of the economy.

The company has an authorised Share Capital of 1,250,000,000 ordinary shares of N1.00 each with =N=895,000,000 of the shares being fully issued and paid.
