Federal polytechnic , Ekowe is the premier oil and gas polytechnic in Nigeria, with a specific mandate to train and develop specialized manpower in the areas of oil, gas and environmental studies.
The Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe is located at Ekowe, Yenagoa Bayelsa State. The Polytechnic is cited at the ancient Town of Ekowe (Ekeu) along the River Nun in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State in the Oil & Gas rich Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. The polytechnic has three(3) faculties: School of Applied Sciences, School of Engineering Technology, and School of Agricultural Technology.
