Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies was established vide Act Cap 261 of the Law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1990 as the only tripartite Institution in the West African Sub-Region responsible for providing workers’ education. In pursuit of its principal function of enhancing the role of Trade Unions in the social and economic development of Nigeria,

MINILS has trained over 17,000 workers in both the private and the public sectors of the economy. We have been providing Consultancy Services to both Government and Private Institutions in the areas of Labour Policies and Industrial Relations Practices.
