Destiny Abanum Ashadi was born on March 31st, 1995 in Nigeria. He is a midfielder who plays for Katsina United FC in the Nigerian Premier League.

His unparalled display in midfield attarcted numerous other clubs including Enyimba FC. On April 22nd 2018, the Chanji Boys midfielder scored and reserved his winning strike against El kanemi warriors for his mother, Josephine's birthday. The strike helped Katsina climb up to the second spot on the league table.
In September 2017, the mercurial midfielder received his first-ever national team call-up which he dedicated to his late father and his NPFL club. He joined the team at the 2017 WAFU Cup, finishing second at the tournament.
