Dammy Krane grew up listening to the likes of legendary Fela and Femi Kuti and King Sunny Ade even though his parents were initially not supportive of his decision to go into music.
Having a mother who was already in the music industry influenced Dammy Krane's career choice. At the age of six, he was already singing in the Children's Church Choir and at the time he finished with his secondary school education, he was well known as an amazing dancer and performer.
In January of 2010, he signed a record deal with Hypertek digital and 960 music group at age 20. The deal was facilitated when Tuface Idibia saw him perform at a friend's birthday party and made the decision to sign him.
He is most famous for his single hit 'My Dear' in 2012 which brought him into the lime light.
In 2014, he released his debut album, The EnterKraner which featured one of his most loved songs 'Amin'
In 2016, he got signed to DMW (Davido Music Worldwide), a label imprint owned by Davido. and in 2017 signed his first artist, Idowest to his won record label 'Worldstar movement Record label'

On Friday, 2 June 2017, Dammy Krane was arrested in Miami, Florida for grand theft, credit card fraud and Identity Fraud. It was revealed that he had allegedly stolen credit cards to book a private jet from the company Tap Jets while touring in Miami. He was reportedly released from jail after meeting his bail which was set at $7,500. he pleaded 'Not guilty' to the charges and demanded a trial by the Jury. He was billed to appear in court on June 23 2017 and on August 2017, the American courts struck out all charges.
Popular for his occasional outbursts on twitter, he has been known to go around dissing his colleagues like Korede Bello, Orezi and Tekno.
