Bose Alao Omotoyossi was born on January 6th, 1985 in Lagos state, Nigeria. Known as Bosslady, she is a Professional Nollywood actor, Filmmaker, Endorsement Model and Entrepreneur.

Born into a Muslim family from Ede in Osun state, Bose grew up in Lagos with her parents and siblings - Fatimo, Harlao, Nofisat and Natty. She is the fourth child of the five. Bose attended Gideon Comprehensive High School graduating in 2002. Between 2004 and 2007, she studied Science Education (Biology) at the Yaba Department of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). She however could not complete her studies at UNILAG. In 2005, she earned a certificate in acting and producing from the training arm of the Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN). From 2011 to 2014, she studied Business Administration at the Lagos Polytechnic Ikeja, graduating with a National Diploma.
Bose started her entertainment journey with NTA’s Kiddies Vision 101 show in 1995. From there she began to feature on Speak Out. When she finished her WAEC exams, she went to the National Arts Theatre where she met someone who introduced her to Bimbo Oshin. She played the role of a Waka pass in Bimbo's movie, Eji Owuro.
Bose broke into the industry with the movie Itakun. Since then, she has proven her mettle with every role she interprets. She has featured in numerous movies such as Wanabe, Super Dad, Rivers between’, Rough Day, Oko Asa, Edge of Paradise, Torment, Imoran Ika, Thorny, amongst others. In 2014, she joined the popularly comedy TV series, Papa Ajasco produced by Wale Adenuga, where she plays the role of Pepeye's friend.
In April 2007, she started her media production firm, Beeehay Media Concepts, where she presently serves as CEO. She has produced several movies - Olasubomi, Imoran Ika, Bomilashiri, Rivers Between, Blind Spots, Olasubomi, and Rough Day. Between September 2009 and August 2012, she worked as a director at Teekay Exotic Boutique. She is also a model and traveling agent.
Bose got married to her husband, Razak Omotoyossi, a Nigerian-born Beninese footballer, in 2007. The couple met on June 19th, 2007 and by October 2007 they were married. The union has produced four girls. Reports emerged in October 2017 that Bose was battered by her husband. The social media was awash with pictures of her brutally beaten face. In June 2018, the actress shocked many as she took to her WhatsApp status to break the news of her marriage crash. She claimed that her marriage ended due to domestic violence. According to her post, Alao disclosed that her marriage to Omotoyosi ended on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018.
Bose won the Best Actress Award at the 2011 Zafaa Awards in the United Kingdom.
