Hon. Edim Mbora Eta was born in 1962. He is an indigene of Calabar in Cross River State, Nigeria. Hon. Edim is a politician and lawmaker who represents Calabar Munincipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon. Edim obtained his West African Examinations Certificate (WAEC) in 1986 at the West African People's Institute in Calabar, Cross River State. In 1988, he obtained a National Diploma (ND) from the Polytechnic Calabar, Cross River State. He went on to obtain a Higher National Diploma in 1991 from the same institution.
Hon. Edim was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 2003 to serve as a member of the Cross River State House of Assembly. After a four-year term at the House, he was elected Chairman of the Calabar Municipal Council. He held the position from 2007 to 2013. In 2015, he was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Calabar Munincipal/Odukpani Constituency.
Hon. Edim has been married since April 15th, 2000. He has two children - a son and a daughter. He loves reading, squashing, swimming, and travelling. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and member of Lions Club, African Club, and Patron Boys Brigade.
