Hon. Shehu Musa

Hon. Shehu Aliyu Musa was born in 1970. He is an indigene of Bauchi in Bauchi State, Nigeria. He is a town planning consultant, businessman and politician. He currently serves in the Federal House of Representatives where he represents Bauchi Constituency.

Hon. Shehu Musa Early Life

Hon. Shehu began his education at Sa'ad Zungur Primary School and graduated in 1984 with a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). In 1990 he obtained a Senior School Certificate from the Government College Karaye in Kano, Kano State. He proceeded to the University of Jos, Plateau State from where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geography and Planning in 1996. In 1998, he earned an M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Jos and another M.Sc. from the Ahmadu Bello University in 2006.

Hon. Shehu has spent a large part of his career working in town planning. He has worked in the development of urban and regional master plan water borehole drilling cooperate management. From 1998 to 2006, he was Principal Partner at Urban Aesthetic Concept. He worked at Destech Drilling Services Ltd (2006-2009) and Savanna Landev Consult Ltd (2006-2009). From 2010 to 2014, he was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Destech Consult Nigeria.

In 2015, Hon. Shehu was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Bauchi Constituency under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
