Isoko North local government area is domiciled in Delta state, South-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Theheadquarters of the LGA are in the town of Ozoro. The towns and villages that make up Isoko north LGA include Emevor, Owhelogbo, Oghara-Iyede, Ozoro, Otor Owhe, Akiewe, Otibio, Ellu, and Ofagbe. The population of Isoko North LGA is estimated at 108,941 inhabitants with the area mainly populated by members of the Isoko ethnic sub-division. The Isoko dialect is widely spoken in the area while Christianity is the most practiced religion in the area. Prominent traditional rulers in Isoko North LGA include the Ovie of Ozoro while popular festivals held in the LGA include the the Oyise Owhe festival. Notable landmarks in Isoko North LGA include the Delta state polytechnic Ozoro and the Film and Broadcast Academy.

The area is also an agricultural hub with crops such as yam, cassava, plantain, and oil palm grown in the area. Other important economic activities engaged in by dwellers of Isoko North LGA include fishing and trade.
