Ekiti local government area is found in Kwara state, Northcentral Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Araromi Opin. A number of towns and villages make up Ekiti LGA and these include Etan, Isapa, Ejiu, Obbo-Ile, Eruku, Ajuba, Osi, and Oke-Opin. The estimated population of Ekiti LGA is 100,054 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Yoruba ethnic division. Trade also booms in the area with the LGA hosting several markets where dwellers of the area come to buy and sell a variety of items. Other important enterprises in Ekiti LGA include textile weaving and mining.
