Eti osa local government area is one of the twenty LGAs in Lagos state, Southwest Nigeria and the headquarters of the LGA are at Lekki. Eti osa LGA consists of three Local council development areas which are the Ikoyi-obalende, Eti-osa east, and the Iru Victoria Island LCDAs. Eti osa LGA is in an urban area of Lagos state and houses the affluent of the society with choice real estate properties scattered over the LGA. The population of the Eti osa LGA is estimated at 308,767 inhabitants with the area populated by members of diverse ethnic groups such as the Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. Popular languages spoken in the area include the Yoruba and the English languages. Popular districts and streets in Eti osa LGA include Ikoyi, Lekki, Victoria Island, Dolphin estate, Simbe Jibowu road, Glover court, Milverton, and Osbourne.
