Oshodi Isolo local government area is one of the twenty LGAs that make up Lagos state, South-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The LGA is made up of several districts which include Ago Okota, Ajao estate, Ogunoloko, Shogunle, Mafoluku, Orile-Oshodi, Okota, and Ilasamaja. The current estimated population of Oshodi Isolo LGA is put at 732,848 inhabitants with the area hosting members of diverse ethnic divisions. The Yoruba and English languages are commonly spoken in the LGA while the religions of Christianity and Islam are widely practiced in the area. Notable landmarks in Oshodi Isolo LGA include the Queensland Academy and the Okoto Senior High School.
