Honourable Abdulrazak studied Sociology at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (U.D.U.S). He had his National Youth Service between 1996 and 1997. Thereafter, he enrolled at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism in Jos Plateau State. He graduated in 1998 and was the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Institution for that year.
Honourable Abdulrazak was a journalist for a large part of his career and has acquired over ten years experience in journalism and publication. In politics, he served as the Director General of the Abubakar Atiku Presidential Aspiration. In 2015, Honourable Abdulrazak was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency of Adamawa State under the flag of the All Progressive Congress (APC). At the Federal House of Representatives, he belongs to the committee on Media and Public Affairs. His legislative interests include social/political development and media/sports development.
