Egbado North local government area is in Ogun state, Southwest Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Aiyetoro. Also known as Yewa North LGA, the Egbado North LGA shares borders with the Republic of Benin and is made up of several towns and villages which include Imeko, Idofa, Igbogila, Mosan, Igan-Okolo, Igan-Alade, and Sawonjo. The population of Egbado North LGA is estimated at 131,466 inhabitants with the major tribal affiliation in the area being the Ketu sub-division of the Yoruba ethnic group. The Yoruba language is widely spoken in the LGA with Christianity as the majorly practiced religion in the area. Egbado North LGA has a number of notable landmarks which include the Comprehensive High school Aiyetoro and the Olabisi Onabanjo University.
