Ezza North local government area is in Ebonyi state, Southeast Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Ebiaji. Ezza North LGA comprises several towns and villages which include Amazu, Ndufu, Ekka, Azuakparata, Oriuozor, Umuome, Amana, and Ohaike. The population of Ezza North LGA is estimated at 151,603 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s inhabitants being members of the Ezza sub-division of the Igbo ethnic group. The major language spoken in the area is the Ezza dialect of the Igbo language while Christianity is the commonly practiced religion in the area. Indigenous festivals held in Ezza North LGA include the Oke Aku and the Mgba Ekka festivals.
Ezza North LGA witnesses two distinct seasons which are the dry and the rainy seasons. The average temperature of the area is 27 degrees centigrade while the humidity level of the area averages 69 percent.
