Akpabuyo local government area is found in Cross Rivers state which is domiciled in the Southsouth geopolitical enclave of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Akpabuyo LGA has its headquarters in the town of Ikot Nakanda and is made up of several towns and villages such as Atimbo, Ikot Edem Odo, Ikot Eyo, Ikang, and Idundu.
