Ankpa local government area is domiciled in Kogi state, Northcentral Nigeria. With the headquarters in the town of Ankpa, the local government area boasts towns and villages such as Aguma, Ejegbo, Ikanekpo, Ofagele, Ojapata, Ubele, Bagele, and Gwoche.
