Fufore

Fufore local government area is in Adamawa state which is found in the Northeast geopolitical division of Nigeria. Several towns and villages make up Fufore LGA and these include Daware, Nyibango, Verre, Riba, Malabu, Gurin, Mayo-nne, Bagale, and Yaungo. The estimated population of Fufore LGA is put at 154,672 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. The Hausa and Fufulde languages are extensively spoken in the area while Islam is the widely practiced religion in the area.

Farming is the major occupation of the people of Fufore local government area with crops such as millet, rice, beans, soyabean, and sorghum grown in the area. Trade also blossoms in the LGA with the area hosting several markets such as the Gurin cattle market and these markets provide veritable platforms for the inhabitants of the area to exchange a number of goods and services.
