Kirfi local government area is situated within Bauchi state, Northeast Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Kirfin kasa. The LGA is bordered by parts of Gombe state while the area is made up of a number of towns and villages such as Danonguza, Jabba, Arawa, Shango, Wanka, Kaloma, Harda, and Bage. The estimated population of Kirfi LGA is put at 179,400 inhabitants with the area’s dwellers consisting mainly of members of the Hausa and the Bure ethnic groups.
