Birnin Kudu

Birnin Kudu LGA is located within Jigawa state which is in the Northwest geopolitical division of Nigeria. The LGA is made up f several towns and villages which include Badingu, Warawade, Yalwan Damai, Nafara, Lafiya, Kantoga, Chiyako, and Fada. The population of Birnin Kudu is estimated at 133,058 inhabitants with the vast majority of this figure being members of the Fulani tribe. Islamic religion is commonly practiced in the area while the hausa and Fufulde languages are spoken extensively in Birnin Kudu. Birnin Kudu is home to a number of festivals which include the Kokawa festival while prominent landmarks in the area include the Government college Brnin Kudu and the ancient Dutsen Habude cave.
