Wasagu Danko local government area is found in Kebbi state, North-west geopolitical enclave of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Ribah and the LGA is made up of several towns and villages such as Bena, Ribah, Haggi, Tungar Bichi, Jambadi, Shadadi, Kawo, Tuburku, and Unguwar Kawa. The population of Wasagu/Danko LGA is estimated to be around 249,841 inhabitants with the area primarily occupied by members of the Hausa/Fulani ethnic group. The Hausa language is commonly spoken in the LGA while the religion of Islam is widely practiced in the area. Wasagu/Danko LGA is a part of the prestigious Zuru Emirate and has a number of notable landmarks which include the Wasagu/Danko General Hospital.
