Doma

Doma local government area is in Nasarawa state which is domiciled in the Northcentral geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of the area are in the town of Doma and the LGA consists of several towns and villages which include Gidawai, Doka, Alagyy, Agwashi, Awuse, Wunge, Osote, and Okuba. The population of the Doma LGA is put at 134,991 inhabitants with the Hausa language among the spoken languages in the area. Christianity and Islam are both widely practiced in Doma LGA while the traditional administrator of the area is the Andoma of Doma. Popular landmarks in Doma LGA include the massive Doma Dam.
