Abua Odual is a local government area found in Rivers state, Southsouth Nigeria. The headquarter of the Abua Odual LGA is at Abua town and features towns and villages such as Emago-Kugbo, Emekesue, Emelego, Egboama, Amorota, and Amaraka. The Abua Odual LGA was created on the 1st of October 1991 and has its major tribe as the Ekpeye which is a sub group of the Igbo ethnic group.
Abua Odual is home to an annual festival known as the Christmas cultural and Art festival which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the various towns that make up Abua Odual LGA.
