Ezinihitte Mbaise

Ezinihitte Mbaise loca government area is in Imo state, Southeast Nigeria and has is made up of several towns and villages which include Oboama, Okpuofe, Obizi, Ihite, Amaumara, Akpodim, Ezi udo, and Choko na Eze. The estimated population of Ezinihitte Mbaise is put at 124,560 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s populace comprising of members of the Igbo ethnic group. The Igbo language is widely spoken in the area while Christianity is the most practiced religion in the LGA. A number of colourful indigenous festivals are held in Ezinihitte Mbaise and these include the Ido oji and iri ji festivals.
