Ise/orun local government area is found in Ekiti state, Southwest geopolitical division of Nigeria.The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Ise-ekiti and the LGA is made up of a number of towns and villages such as Imope, Olu-oroke, Ofigba, Oyin, Aba Onisu, Aba Ilogbo, Agbe, and Araromi. The estimated population of Ise/Orun LGA is 168,990 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s inhabitants being members of the Yoruba ethnic group. The Yoruba language is extensively spoken in the LGA while Christianity is the most practiced religion in the area. Prominent traditional rulers in Ise/Orun LGA include the Arinjale of Ise-ekiti while major landmarks in the area include the School of midwifery Orun-ekiti and the NYSC permanent Orientation camp.
