Ibarapa east LGA is domiciled in Oyo state, Southwest geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Eruwa with the LGA made up of towns and villages such as Eruwa, Lanlate, and Anko. Notable traditional rulers in Ibarapa east LGA include the Eleruwa of Eruwa and the Onilala of Lanlate. Ibarapa east LGA hosts the Ibarapa Northeast Local Council Development Area.
