Olorunsogo local government area is found in Oyo state, South-west geopolitical enclave of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Igbeti and the LGA is made up of several towns and villages which include Alakuko, Tantomo, Onipede, Elesin, Bogere, Agbogangan, Binukonu, and Gasali. The estimated population of Olorunsogo LGA is put at 294,838 inhabitants with the vast majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Yoruba ethnic group. The Yoruba language is commonly spoken in the LGA while the religions of Christianity and Islam are practiced in the area.
