Irepo local government area is found in Oyo state, South-west geopolitical division of Nigeria with its headquarters in the town of Kisi. A number of towns and villages make up Irepo LGA and these include Kisi, Alegongo, Sise, Olowo, Olokoto, Barunganma, Budo Gesi, Adagbanba, and Elerin. The estimated population of Irepo LGA is 167,908 inhabitants with the vast majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Yoruba ethnic affiliation. The Yoruba language is commonly spoken in the LGA while the religions of Christianity and Islam are widely practiced in the area. Important festivals held in Irepo LGA include the Adasobo festival while notable landmarks in the area include the post office at Kisi and the Nomadic school in Irepo town.
