Gubio local government area is situated in Borno state, Northeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Gubio and the area consists of several towns and villages which include Musari, Gazabure, Doili, Karaguwa, Karauwa, Moleram, Fulatami, and Kanguri. Gubio LGA is part of the illustrious Borno Emirate and has an estimated population of 159,638 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups.
