Magumeri

Magumeri local government area is in Borno state, North-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Magumeri. Magumeri LGA is a part of the illustrious Borno Emirate and hosts several towns and villages such as Gabtaru, Geske, Yasku, Kupti, Ambolu, Ngamma, Risugua, and Furram. The estimated population of Magumeri LGA is put at 213,499 inhabitants with the dominant ethnic group in the area being the Kanuri ethnic affiliation. The Kanuri language is commonly spoken in the area while the religions of Islam and Christianity are practiced in the area.
