Wushishi local goevernment area is domiciled in Niger state, North-central geopolitical division of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Wushishi and the LGA is made up of several towns and villages which include Kwankwagi, Pasa, Tunkunji, Ushiba, Yamigi, Matajuja, Gudi, Fugagi, Girin, and Buzu. The total estimated population of Wushishi LGA is put at 229,449 inhabitants with the area occupied by members of diverse ethnic groups which include the Kambari. The Kambari language is one of the spoken languages in Wushishi LGA while the religions of Islam and Christianity are practiced in the area.
