Ardo Kola local government area is located in Taraba state, Northcentral Nigeria. With the headquarter of the LGA in the town of Sunkani, Ardo Kola comprises a number of towns and villages which include Iware, Jiru, Mallum, Sunkani, Tau, Zongon-kombi, and Sarkin-Dutse. The population of the area is estimated at 103,555 inhabitants with popular ethnic affiliations being the Hausa and Fulani.
