Gezawa local government area is in Kano state which is in the Northwest geopolitical division of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Gezawa and the area consists of several towns and villages which include Tsamiya Babba, Abasawa, Dagazam, Gunduwawa, Tumbau, Zango, Jogana, and Charo. The estimated population of Gezawa LGA is 167,803 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s inhabitants being members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic divisions. The Fufulde and Hausa languages are spoken in the area while Islam is the most practiced religion in the area.
