Tofa local government area is domiciled in Kano state, North-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Tofa and the LGA is comprised of several towns and villages which include Dokadawa, Langel, Yanoko, Lambu, Kadawa, Doka, Ginsawa, and Kazardawa. The estimated population of Tofa LGA is put at 169,738 inhabitants with the area predominantly occupied by members of the Hausa/Fulani ethnic group.
